Position Summary
The Groundskeeper performs landscaping tasks using power equipment and hand tools to maintain the facility’s grounds.
Essential Responsibilities

- Mows lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned.
- Picks up and removes trash prior to mowing a designated area.
- Empties trash and recycling containers.
- Trims bushes, shrubs, and hedges.
- Prepares soil and plants flowers, bushes, hedges, or shrubs.
- Plants trees and prunes them when necessary.
- Cuts and removes trees as needed.
- Applies fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides as directed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Represent Fora in a professional and courteous manner, and to work and communicate constructively with the other members of your team.
- Where a question arises, to seek clarification from your supervisor, project manager, or from senior management of Fora.
- Meet with your direct supervisor as needed to provide all materials or updates regarding work required in a timely and professional manner.
- Immediately report to your supervisor any and all physical plant problems which may bring risk to anyone, affect the proper operation of the program, or result in noncompliance of regulations.
- Ensure that assigned work areas are free from potential safety hazards.
- Adhere to all policies and professional standards set forth by Fora, including but not limited to ensuring that your workplace is free of all forms of harassment, sexual harassment and discrimination. You are required to contact your supervisor or human resources if you believe you have been subject to or observed such behaviors.
- Participate in supervision meetings, training, and required safety programs.
- Follow all policies outlined in the site procedures manual and Fora Employee Handbook.
- Maintain a workplace free of harassment, discrimination, and unsafe conditions.
- Report concerns regarding safety, harassment, or discrimination to a supervisor, operations manager or HR.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Previous experience preferred.
- On-the-job training offered.
- Must be able to meet all requirements for access to federal facilities, which includes presenting a REAL ID. compliant license/ID, U.S. Passport, or other acceptable form of identification as required by the REAL ID Act.
- Prolonged periods walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling.
- Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Office building, interaction with building customers and the public.
