Position Summary
The Janitorial Lead Worker oversees and participates in the daily cleaning and maintenance of assigned facilities to ensure a safe, clean and sanitary environment. This position provides day-to-day guidance and directions to janitorial staff, assigns work, monitors performance and quality standards. The Lead Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment while providing leadership, training and support to assigned staff. The Janitorial Lead Worker also performs routine custodial duties and ensures all work is completed in accordance with organizational policies, safety procedures, and established cleaning standards.
This position requires someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and promotes accountability, teamwork, and high-quality work standards.
