About Fora
Work changes everything. We make it happen.
Since 1996, we’ve connected individuals with disabilities to meaningful employment by partnering with organizations that expect both performance and purpose. We are a multi-region workforce model supporting operations across New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Our teams are integrated into daily operations, maintaining facilities, supporting office functions, managing mailrooms, and more.
We operate across a wide range of services, including facilities support, administrative operations, warehouses, call center services, and other essential functions.
At Fora, employment is more than a job. It’s a foundation for independence, confidence, and dignity, expanding what’s possible in the workplace and beyond, and shaping how we work every day.
The Assistant Director of Talent & People Management provides operational leadership and oversight for HR functions in a growing, mission-driven organization. This role supports scalable people operations by strengthening compliance, improving operational consistency, supervising HR staff, enhancing workforce support systems, and guiding execution across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR systems, workforce learning, and employee support functions.
Working closely with the VP of Talent & People Management, the Assistant Director helps ensure HR programs and services are delivered consistently, effectively, and in alignment with organizational goals, workforce needs, and compliance requirements.
The Assistant Director serves as a collaborative operational leader and trusted partner to employees, managers, HR staff, and leadership. The successful candidate will bring strong initiative, sound judgment, operational follow-through, and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
